Twilight
Sucked. Bad.

Seriously, there are two movies on my list, that ive walked out of. Dracula 2000, and the original Crash movie (the one about people who get off on car crashes).

This was by far, worse.

Not only did the story suck, and the character development suck, the acting seemed surpressed. It was as if the director told the actors to tone it down. There were some scenes where there was some acting...the rest was all dry and held down.

Most of the time, the actors never looked at eachother. Or the Camera.

About an hour after the film I was still sitting there, dazed, waiting for like, plot, story, or something to explain "huh?"

Like really, you've known eachother for a weekish, and you know less than a 5 minute conversation about eachother but you're in love?

The only reason I stayed more than 20 minutes cause the idea was Cora and Chesterfield went to see Twilight to make fun of it, and torture themselves with, and decided to bring Tim along cause he needed to know that there are worse things than a primogen meeting.

We laughed...at many cheesy/rediculous scenes. Loudly. Others started joining in with us. They were serious parts of the movie.

Just, dear god. I'd hope the book was at least better developed, although with how retarded the ideas of the books are, I wouldn't bother still.

I may shoot the next person that makes a PC that says they are a "Vegetarian" or any of the other stupid shit that was in that movie. However, Chesterfield (or other snarky Toreador) coming in stating he has the skin of a killer making fun of the movie is acceptable.

Finally, White Wolf has half a chance at suing them, depending on when the book was written. The Uktena Native American tribe are "descended from wolves" and later in the books revealed as werewolves, who are enemies of the Clan of Kindred family of vampires. Apparently there is more correlations, but when I heard "Frenzy" in the movie and the lupine thing was explained, yeah...

Its a 'teenage chick movie' made from a 'vampire romance novel'. I have no reservations or expectations. However I do wish to see it, if only to see correlation or parallels to other writers or vamp movies.

I mean... The Covenant sucked to, was geared towards teenagers who have a 5 minute attention span, but I still watched it.

TEENAGE vampire romance novel... lets not forget the teenage part. Seriously? No novel should have all three of those words in it's description: Teenage, Vampire and Romance. PERHAPS two out of three in some cases. If you are writing a Vampire Romance novel... it should not be classified as 'teenage'. Vampire + Romance = adult. I'm sorry... that's just the way it is. Teenage + Vampire = silly and campy. Teenage + Romance = anything but Vampires.

I haven't even seen Twilight but I bet porch is right and The Covenant was better. lol

Don't feel bad, I totally laughed at all the inappropriate parts in the crowded theater. It was so dumb it just had to be made fun of. It was just so slow and trying to be dramatic.

books are ok if you ignore the fact that the author is living vicariously through the female lead, as well as the obnoxious take on the vampire mythos.

Movie is probably the 2nd worst move I've ever seen in my life.

Ah, having the idea of taking your characters to see it.

Reminds me of when a certain character of mine Tim knows had her Brujah best friend introduce her to "feeding on drunk mortals" 'cause she was down and needed the company. Then wound up calling a clanmate for a ride home and dancing the Tunak Tunak Tun.

Yes, Porch. I see your crazy IC ideas. And I double down.

Well I was going to sprinkle glitter on myself, pretend to be the Professor and go see the movie until I found out there were no Zombies in it!

Did they sparkle? I had to put the book down when they started sparkling in the sunlight.
